Background

My educational back ground includes attending Clemson University for undergrad, Winthrop University for my dietetic internship, and I am currently working on my master's degree from the University of Alabama. I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2020 and in that time I have done extensive 1:1 nutrition counseling and also obtained my Certified Personal Trainer credentials. My greatest expectation for clients is to show up. There will always be days and weeks where things don't go well or you get very busy; those are the most important weeks to show up. I firmly believe you will get the results you put in the work for. 2% effort will yield 2% results. and the greatest predictor of success is consistency. Some fun facts about me include that I am an avid runner and am working towards running my first full marathon, I am incredibly passionate about scuba diving and am considered a Dive Master, and I greatly enjoy baking and cooking.

Approach

"I use a collaborative approach with clients to find the best methods to help them reach their particular goals. I believe in client-led goal setting and am there to help guide them to the most appropriate choices. I focus on whole-food nutrition with an emphasis on balance and variety. Everything can be a part of a healthy diet when in moderation. It is important to me to examine not only the food and nutrition habits of my clients, but also to look at their stress, sleep, and physical activity."
