Background

Hi, I’m Patty! I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Master’s in Public Health, and I help women, families, and teens discover how to eat in a way that feels good, fits their lifestyle, and supports their long-term health goals.

I specialize in women’s weight loss and hormone-related issues, including menopause, PCOS, infertility, and pregnancy nutrition. I also work with teenagers, high school and collegiate athletes, couples, and families who want to heal their relationship with food and better manage weight, energy, and health as a team.

Why I Do This Work

My passion for nutrition began early—growing up on a farm in Louisiana with my dad and sisters, where we harvested crops and enjoyed fresh, home-cooked meals every day. I saw firsthand how food could be both nourishing and joyful. Even in high school, I was known as the friend who ate well and had an abundance of energy—and I loved inspiring others to make better choices, too.

That early love for food and wellness led me to pursue my degree in Dietetics from Nicholls State University, followed by a Master of Public Health and dietetic internship at Tulane University. After years of working in clinical, sports, and public health settings, I opened Sugar Land Nutrition, my private practice of over 20 years, to provide personalized counseling that helps people feel better in their bodies—without guilt, restriction, or confusion.

My Philosophy

Nutrition isn’t just about what’s on your plate—it’s about how you feel in your skin, how you move through life, and how you treat your body and mind. I’m here to help you:

* Understand your unique nutritional needs

* Rebuild trust with your body

* Overcome obstacles like hormonal imbalance, digestive issues, or metabolic slowdown

* Learn how to eat well without obsessing

* And most of all—feel like yourself again

I’ll be your biggest cheerleader, motivator, and guide. Together, we’ll build a path to your most confident and vibrant self.
