I am a South Florida native who was raised in a Caribbean family. I have a profound understanding of foods and food practices from many cultures. I obtained a bachelor degree in psychology and a bachelor degree in dietetics/nutrition from FIU. I went on to obtain my master’s degree in nutrition/dietetics from UNF. I became a registered dietitian in 2019. Since then, I have gained valuable experience working in both adult and pediatric hospitals as well as providing outpatient medical nutrition therapy. I love food and I am passionate about helping others feel comfortable around food. My sessions are judgement-free and centered around empowering clients to enhance their nutritional well-being.
"Navigating the nutrition information found on social media can sometimes be overwhelming and inadvertently cause anxiety around eating. I help my patients move away from fad diets, macros, restrictive plans, and counting calories to focusing on getting adequate nutrition by building sustainable habits. I want my patients to be armed with knowledge and ultimately become comfortable around all their favorite foods."
