I graduated from the University of Kentucky with my B.S. in Dietetics in August 2023. Since then, I have worked as an in-patient eating disorder dietitian aiming to help patients achieve initial recovery through weight gain and return to normalized eating. I wanted to expand my skill base to outpatient to be able to work more one-on-one with my clients and to get to see the impact in their daily lives.
I am passionate about helping others make positive changes in their life through simple behavior change. I am particularly interested in helping others with their relationship with food and supporting sustainable eating patterns. However, while working at the psychiatric hospital, I also gained experience working with tube feeds, wounds, Diabetes/Pre-diabetes, Malnutrition, Kidney disease and dialysis, pregnancy, and GI disorders.
Some of my core values that I strive to live by and will bring into my work include integrity, empathy, dignity and respect, and empowering others.
Beyond work, I love hanging out with my family and my boyfriend, I am active in my faith, and I love doing my hobbies (crocheting, baking, composting, learning about animals and nature, etc.).
