Hi, I’m Melody Pierre-Jean, a Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Educator with over 10 years of experience in the nutrition field and more than 5 years practicing as a dietitian. I specialize in helping clients develop sustainable, personalized approaches to health and wellness. When you work with me, you can expect a supportive, judgment-free space where we focus on realistic goals, practical strategies, and long-term lifestyle changes. Whether you're managing a chronic condition, navigating a new diagnosis, or simply trying to feel better in your body, I'm here to support you with evidence-based guidance and compassion.
My primary focus areas include medical nutrition therapy for chronic conditions, diabetes prevention and management, and culturally responsive nutrition education. I’m especially passionate about helping people build a healthier, more balanced relationship with food—one that’s free from guilt, fear, or rigid rules. I work with clients from all walks of life, making sure each person’s care plan is individualized and meaningful.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in public health departments, telehealth settings, and consulting roles. I’ve led diabetes education programs, provided virtual nutrition counseling, and supported communities through hands-on outreach and education.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about food, culture, and lifelong learning. I enjoy discovering new cuisines, spending time outdoors, and being active in local health initiatives. I was drawn to the field of nutrition by a desire to close the gap between information and action—especially for underserved populations. Building my private practice has given me the opportunity to connect with clients on a deeper level and offer care that truly makes a difference.
If you're looking for a dietitian who brings both clinical expertise and a personal, down-to-earth approach, I’d be honored to support you on your wellness journey.
"I create a supportive, down-to-earth space where clients feel heard and empowered. I specialize in chronic conditions and diabetes, blending evidence-based care with cultural sensitivity and real-life solutions. I meet clients where they are, helping them build sustainable habits and a healthier relationship with food—without guilt or pressure."
