Hi, I’m Megan! When working with me you can expect to get a jumpstart on reaching your nutrition goals by receiving personalized nutrition guidance and recommendations that eliminate the guesswork.
I am experienced in helping patients prevent and/or manage chronic conditions, aid in weight loss, work through struggles with disordered eating patterns and other nutrition concerns affected by mental health, improve overall health with a focus on diet, exercise, and lifestyle, and rediscover one’s motivation. I work with you to build a plan designed to work for your time, your schedule, your resources, and your goals.
You have come to the right place if you struggle with …
-impaired relationship with food (food anxiety/guilt)
-disordered eating patterns
-lack of motivation
-difficulty with meal planning
-poor self-image
-difficulty with weight management
-the impact of mental health on nutrition choices
-poor diet quality
-calorie or macro tracking
-navigating chronic illness with nutrition
You can expect to see transformations in your physical health (energy levels, weight/body composition, lab values), mental health (relationship with food, confidence, motivation/discipline, mood regulation), and social health (enjoyment in social settings without the stress of food bogging you down).
I have experience as a Registered Dietitian working in behavioral health centers providing both nutrition education and counseling using motivational interviewing techniques. I also provide nutrition care to older adults in nursing homes, navigating complex conditions and nutritional needs. I get the best of both worlds!
My passion for nutrition blossomed with my discovery of the impact nutrition has on all outlets of life. I enjoy staying active, whether it’s going to the gym, going for a walk or run outside, or spinning at Cycle Bar, and proper nutrition plays an essential role in fueling my body for these activities. I enjoy spending time with friends and family on the weekend and trying new restaurants, breweries, and other local businesses.
I am eager to expand the delivery of my nutrition services to reach even more individuals, like yourself, to make a powerful impact in your life. I believe in the influential impact access to nutrition care can have on individuals, communities, and the population.
"Hi, I'm Megan! My approach to nutrition counseling has always been patient centered; I want you to reach your goals just as much as you do. I work with you to find a plan that works for you, because each individual is different, and one-size does NOT fit all. I believe in the importance of providing you with the information and tools you need to make sustainable changes, and guiding you along the way."
