Background

Hi, I’m Meaghan— a compassionate, enthusiastic, and results-driven dietitian here to help you feel your best without giving up the foods (or life) you love.

Navigating your health and nutrition can feel overwhelming — but you don’t have to do it alone. I work alongside you to create personalized, realistic strategies that support your health goals while fitting seamlessly into your lifestyle. My approach is rooted in empathy, practicality, and a deep respect for what matters most to you. No crash diets, no one-size-fits-all plans — just smart, sustainable changes that make a real difference.

With years of experience working across a wide range of health conditions and life stages, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients improve their well-being — from managing chronic conditions to enhancing everyday energy and confidence.

I specialize in diabetes care and education and am proud to be a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). Whether you’re newly diagnosed or looking to fine-tune your management, I can guide you through everything from nutrition and lifestyle to understanding your medications and tech tools like Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs). If you desire, I can work with your healthcare team to ensure you get coordinated, holistic care that works in real life.

Beyond diabetes, I’ve supported clients with heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, kidney disease, GI issues (like IBS, Crohn’s, and GERD), bariatric surgery, food allergies and intolerances, and more. I help my clients understand health technology and how they use it to improve their everyday. I also work with clients on weight management in a sustainable, non-restrictive way that honors your health and happiness.

My background includes:

• Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Communication – George Mason University

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Dietetics, with Honors – Syracuse University

When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me cooking for my family, tending to my vegetable garden and beehives, reading a great book, or exploring a new restaurant in town (especially if there’s pizza, sushi, or a creative sandwich involved). I love sharing recipes, restaurant finds, and tips to make healthy eating both fun and flavorful.

Above all, I’m passionate about helping people live healthier, fuller lives — without giving up the joy of food or the things that make life meaningful. Let’s work together to build habits that support your health, your goals, and the way you want to live
