Background

There are many things in my life that has led me to be interested in nutrition. From a young age, I learned to be optimistic about what life has to offer. I started to become interested in bettering myself in many ways such as being healthy and working out. Nutrition is very important to have a healthy mind and body. Both sides of my family have a long line of unhealthy diseases such as diabetes. My uncle was so unhealthy at one point that they had to amputate his foot and eventually, he passed away from this disease at the age of 55. It scared me when I was a kid, but I now know how to help others with their health problems. Having this disease run in my family helped me become more interested and centered on nutrition. I want to be able to help my family and others that have health issues.

There are so many different sides to nutrition including general health, diabetes, women’s health with PCOS and menopause, or even just getting help with intuitive eating. I am excited to help encourage and motivate you to become the best version of yourself through being healthy, having fun, and making sure we are nourishing our bodies.

I am a Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), and licensed Dietitian (LD). I hold a Master’s Degree in Human Environmental Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Dietetics. I completed my dietetic internship at the Medical University of South Carolina where I got to help place tubes for tube feeds, watch surgeries, and provide MNT to all different patients.

I am excited to get to meet each and every one of you so we can come together to help foster intuitive eating habits to ensure positive long term health!
