Background

I’m a registered dietitian specializing in sports performance nutrition, passionate about helping athletes fuel their bodies for optimal performance. My interest in nutrition began in high school when I saw firsthand how proper fueling impacted my performance on the volleyball court. That experience ignited my passion for understanding the science behind nutrition and its role in athletic success.

I earned my undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Samford University and went on to complete my Master’s in Nutrition Sciences and dietetic internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). With a strong foundation in evidence-based nutrition, I firmly believe that proper fueling is essential for active individuals to perform their best.

When we work together, you can always expect empathy and attentive listening. I’m dedicated to providing you with the best advice and knowledge to tackle any situation. Getting to know you is crucial to me, as it enables me to effectively guide and coach you through changes and challenges in your life.

In return, I ask that you come ready to embrace change and open your mind to exploring different nutrition concepts. I’ll support you every step of the way while also encouraging independence and autonomy where necessary. Your well-being is my priority, and I’m excited to help you achieve your goals!

Outside of work, I love staying active through weightlifting, hiking, and my new love for trail running. I also enjoy long walks with my dog, Sadie, and spending time with my husband of nearly three years.

Let’s work together to help you fuel smarter, train harder, and perform your best!

Approach

"My approach as an RD is rooted in science and focused on balance, not restriction. I believe all foods fit into a healthy diet and emphasize nutrition by addition, not subtraction. I’m anti-diet culture and aim to keep nutrition fun and sustainable. Before making changes, I ensure you have a positive relationship with food, because true progress starts there. Change is tough, but with the right mindset and support, it’s absolutely possible! "
