I'm a licensed dietitian nutritionist from North Carolina, where my interest in nutrition began early in college with an introductory nutrition class. Realizing the critical role of nutrition in health, performance, and overall well-being, I pursued a BS in Nutrition, a BS in Kinesiology, and an MS in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
My career started with a focus on sports and performance nutrition, working as a performance dietitian at Wake Forest University and the University of South Carolina. While I still have a strong passion for performance nutrition and still practice in this area, my focus has shifted to metabolic health and glucose metabolism. This transition has allowed me to help individuals with Type 2 Diabetes, Prediabetes, and Metabolic Syndrome manage their glucose levels and lose weight.
I am dedicated to helping others succeed in their health journeys, providing the tools and support necessary to reach their health goals.
"As a Registered Dietitian, I focus on personalized nutrition and meeting clients where they are on their health journey. My approach combines evidence-based practices with a compassionate, client-centered ethos, empowering individuals to achieve their goals through realistic, sustainable changes. I prioritize listening and collaboration, ensuring each plan is tailored to fit unique lifestyles and preferences, ultimately fostering a positive relationship with food and long-term wellness."
