Background

Lauren O’Meara, MS, RDN, LDN

I am a registered dietitian with a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, specializing in oncology, weight management, and preventive care through nutrition. I have experience working in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings. My goal is to translate evidence-based nutrition into personalized plans that work for you.

I believe that nutrition is unique to each individual. It’s not just about the food; it’s about meeting people where they are and considering their health, culture, and lifestyle in their health journey. My approach combines compassion and science to create realistic and sustainable changes that improve overall health. Working with you so you do not feel overwhelmed.

When I’m not working, you can find me at a farmer’s market, crafting, baking, or exploring nature with my dog, Chloe, by my side. We believe in enjoying treats at every step of the journey. I value balance in my life, and you'll see that reflected in my practice.

I became a dietitian due to my own struggles with health and the frustration of a one-size-fits-all approach to managing my own PCOS and endometriosis. Seeking relief from my symptoms led me to dive into nutrition research. I genuinely enjoy helping my patients achieve their goals. With the overwhelming amount of information about nutrition available, I'm here to help you navigate the complexities of nutrition in a realistic and sustainable way.
