Kristine Carlson, MS, RD, CD
I am a registered dietitian committed to a personalized, whole-health approach to nutrition. I prioritize active listening and collaboration to ensure my guidance aligns with your lifestyle, preferences, and health goals. Whether managing a chronic condition, working toward weight management, or improving your relationship with food, I offer practical, sustainable strategies tailored to you.
My passion for nutrition grew from personal experience. After a decade in the corporate world, I shifted to dietetics to address my own health and weight challenges. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University in Chicago, IL, where I completed extensive inpatient and outpatient training.
I take a whole-health approach, recognizing the vital role of stress management, movement, sleep, and overall well-being. My goal is to empower you with evidence-based strategies and personalized support for lasting change.
Outside of work, I stay active through cycling, skiing, hiking, yoga, and adventuring with my dogs. I'm also passionate about gardening and community food access, helping others grow their own food whenever possible.
I look forward to supporting you on your health journey!
"My approach as a registered dietitian is rooted in personalized, whole-health nutrition. I prioritize active listening to understand each individual’s lifestyle, preferences, and challenges, ensuring my guidance is realistic and sustainable. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all recommendations, I tailor meal plans to fit each person’s unique needs, considering medical conditions, food access, and personal tastes. Whether supporting weight management or managing chronic conditions like diabetes"
