Background

In our nutrition sessions, you can expect a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere where your thoughts and concerns are heard and respected. Together, we will explore your unique challenges and create a personalized plan using details about your lifestyle and cultural preferences. We'll work at a comfortable pace, ensuring steady, sustainable progress toward lasting changes.

With 15 years of experience in the nutrition field, I have provided community nutrition services for both WIC and SNAP participants. My expertise also extends to medical nutrition therapy from working closely with patients in both hospitals and outpatient clinics. Additionally, as a powerlifting enthusiast, I apply sports nutrition concepts to tailor guidance for athletes of all ages to improve performance, recovery, and overall health.

I have a passion for working with patients with women’s issues such as polycystic ovarian syndrome, pregnancy, and menopause. Chronic conditions (hypertension, diabetes, kidney disease, etc.) and sports nutrition are other areas of focus where I believe it is difficult to navigate without proper support. I also enjoy working with children and adolescents to address concerns surrounding weight (under- or overweight), picky eating, sensory issues, food allergies, and more.

Approach

"Diet plays a pivotal role in both health and performance. I’ve not only supported patients in achieving their nutrition goals but have also used these skills to manage my own health conditions, including obesity, PCOS, irritable bowel syndrome, and prediabetes. I understand that it’s easy to struggle with motivation and can be challenging to meet nutrition goals. I’m here to provide that additional support to help you get through those times that try to derail you."
