Expectations
When you work with me, you can expect a compassionate, realistic approach to nutrition that helps you build a healthy, sustainable relationship with food. My goal is for you to feel confident in your food choices, understand that all foods can fit, and move away from restrictive diet culture. Whether you’re looking to prevent chronic disease or manage an existing condition, I’ll help you find balance and confidence in your eating habits—without guilt or confusion.
Focus Areas
I specialize in pediatric nutrition, oncology nutrition, weight management, family nutrition, and intuitive eating. I enjoy helping children, adults, and families make meaningful, lasting changes that support both physical and emotional well-being. My work is rooted in evidence-based practice, empathy, and a belief that nutrition should be empowering—not overwhelming.
Credentials
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Licensed Dietitian (LD) with more than 22 years of experience in clinical and outpatient nutrition care. I hold a Master of Health Administration (MHA) from Ohio University and completed my dietetic internship at Yale–New Haven Hospital.
I am Board Certified in Pediatric Nutrition and Board Certified in Oncology Nutrition by the Commission on Dietetic Registration, with additional certifications in Adult and Pediatric Weight Management and Quality and Safety.
My professional background includes leadership and program development roles at The Christ Hospital Health Network and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. I’ve authored book chapters, presented at national conferences, and mentored countless emerging dietitians throughout my career.
Personal
Outside of work, I love spending time with my significant other, John, my three children, and our dog, Oakley. Travel is one of my greatest joys, and I’m steadily working through my bucket list of destinations. Whether it’s exploring a new place, discovering new foods, or simply relaxing with my family, I value experiences that bring connection and joy.
Drive
I became a dietitian because I believe food is more than just fuel—it’s connection, culture, and comfort. Over the years, I’ve seen how the right nutrition support can truly change lives. Starting my private practice allows me to offer individualized, compassionate care that helps people rediscover trust in their bodies, confidence in their food choices, and joy in the eating experience.
"I combine evidence-based nutrition with a compassionate, individualized approach. My goal is to help clients improve health, prevent or manage disease, and build a positive, lasting relationship with food and their bodies."
