Hi, I’m Katie - and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a self-proclaimed nutrition nerd with over a decade of education and experience in the field of dietetics and nutrition. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, but my passion for nutrition goes far beyond the classroom.
Like many people, I didn’t always have the healthiest habits. I’ve been in the cycle of feeling overwhelmed, confused, and frustrated - trying to “do everything right” while navigating conflicting advice and unrealistic expectations. It wasn’t until I began studying nutrition independently and applying it to my own life that everything truly clicked. That personal journey is what sparked my love for helping others, and it allows me to truly understand what you’re going through - not just academically, but personally.
My nutrition philosophy is rooted in mindful eating and balance. I whole-heartedly believe that good health - better yet, amazing health - comes from a sustainable, balanced lifestyle. Barring specific medical conditions, no foods or food groups are off-limits when you work with me. Instead of rigid rules or quick fixes, I help you tune out the misinformation and diet culture noise flooding your social media feeds and focus on evidence-based strategies that actually work in real life. I know how heavy and exhausting it can feel to exist in today's world, especially when it comes to food, body image, and health.
My goal is to help you feel grounded, informed, and confident - without the overwhelm.
I’ll guide you through simple, practical steps to help you reach meaningful health goals - while providing client-centered, judgment-free support every step of the way. My goal isn’t just for you to succeed, but to truly thrive with confidence around food and your body.
When I’m not nerding out over nutrition, you can find me weightlifting, practicing yoga or Pilates, watching my favorite shows, trying new restaurants with my husband, rooting on the Buffalo Bills, or cuddling with my Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Danny and Louie :)
My nutrition philosophy and counseling style revolves around a very realistic, practical and mindful approach to health & wellness. I use my personal and professional experience along with science-backed evidence-based nutrition education to help people become their happiest healthiest selves. I truly believe that the biggest and most meaningful health benefits can come from the smallest of lifestyle and nutrition changes. You do not need to completely overhaul your life to improve your health!
