My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and skills necessary to transform your health on your own terms. Nutrition is an exciting field that can change your life in ways you never thought possible. We will focus on managing your labs, medications, food, exercise, and mental health to produce sustainable, enjoyable results.
I bring 50 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian with a master's in food science and nutrition, offering great depth in a wide variety of nutritional services. This experience includes:
- Food Service Management: Co-managing a production kitchen that produced approximately 5,200 meals daily, and years of service feeding seniors and children through various federal programs.
- Clinical Specialties: Diabetes (Type 1 and 2), renal diseases including dialysis, mental health, and metabolic diseases such as obesity, PCOS, chronic kidney disease, and liver disease. While I have expertise across most diets, I focus much of my work on helping people reverse metabolic diseases with therapeutic, well-planned ketogenic diets.
Currently, I serve as the Director of Nutrition for the Ren-Nu Program, an international, online, evidence-based nutrition program for individuals with polycystic kidney disease and chronic kidney disease, which is a division of Santa Barbara Nutrients.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, gardening, and horses.
I look forward to discussing how we can work together to meet your health goals.
I have a great passion for helping people reverse or improve chronic diseases using evidence-based research methods that are customized to you, and your lifestyle. My areas of expertise and current focus are renal disease, diabetes, obesity, PCOS, MASLD/MASH and metabolic syndrome applying Ketogenic Diet Therapy or other Medical Nutrition Therapies as needed.
