Warm Greetings! I’m Kathryn Ramos, a culturally-competent, creative, and empathetic Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping others feel seen, heard, and supported on their health journeys. My approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and functional, evidence-based care.
In our sessions, you can expect a safe space to explore your health holistically & beyond just dietary intake or biometrics. I conduct comprehensive lifestyle assessments that dive into nutrition, movement, sleep quality, stress management, and relationships to truly understand what’s going on beneath the surface. Together, we’ll co-create strategies that are realistic, personalized, and aligned with your values. I love empowering my clients to reconnect with their bodies, shift patterns that no longer serve them, and unlock new levels of energy, clarity, and joy.
I specialize in Integrative Health and Functional Nutrition, which means I look for root causes rather than just managing symptoms. I work best with individuals who are curious, invested in their wellbeing, and ready to have mind-opening conversations that can change the trajectory of their life. Whether you're navigating chronic fatigue, hormonal imbalances, digestive concerns, or just feeling stuck and out of sync, I’m here to help you find clarity and direction. Every recommendation is tailored and evidence-based, with plenty of space to honor cultural preferences and personal lifestyle needs.
Professionally, I’ve been practicing as an RD since 2021 and currently pursuing my Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition (DCN) with a focus on Functional and Integrative Health at Notre Dame of Maryland University, which by the way is the only program of its kind. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Florida in 2019, go Gators! My dietetic internship was completed in 2019-2020 in Wesley Chapel, FL under Andrews University, earned with a focus on Clinical Practice & Plant-Based Nutrition. This advanced training allows me to stay on the cutting edge of nutrition science, which I love. I often find myself falling down research rabbit holes, always seeking new insights and tools that can help my clients thrive, not just survive.
On a personal note, I’m a creative spirit at heart. I love writing, listening to music, taking nature walks, and romanticizing the small moments of everyday life. I’m also very connected to my family and culture (Colombian), and I value creating care plans that respect every client’s lived experience. I believe healing is not one-size-fits-all—it’s a process of reconnection, discovery, and empowerment.
I became a dietitian because I saw firsthand how nutrition could transform not just the body, but entire outlooks on life. Building my private practice has been a way to bring that vision to life, through offering meaningful, individualized care that respects the whole person. I genuinely love what I do, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside my clients on their path to wellness.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your journey with someone who will meet you with warmth, insight, and zero judgment, I’d be thrilled to work with you.
