Background

In my 6 years of nutrition counseling work, I have enjoyed working with people from all walks of life and all different stages, backgrounds, personalities, and nationalities. I enjoy working with clients who struggle to improve biomarkers such as their blood sugars, or A1c, their cholesterol panel, their blood pressure, and their body composition. I have also been deeply honored to help those who struggle with eating disorders, or who feel disconnected and discontent with where their body and food relationship is at.

I have also served as a dietitian for 3+ years to a Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab program at a local hospital, which allowed me to work with those who have maybe recently had a cardiac event and who are motivated, but perhaps facing unique challenges, to making heart healthy diet and activity changes. I also have experience with managing tube feeds in outpatient settings.

My passion lies with helping people change their perception about food, healthy eating, their connection to the environment and living a full life (instead of a life that IS full). I hope to continue to use my voice and my platform to bring healing to individuals, communities and the environment. But no matter where my client is on their journey in life, the thing I love best is that I get to meet them where they are, build rapport with them based on respect and understanding, work together to define their health goals and make a personalized and attainable action plan to help them reach better health!

Approach

"My style of nutrition counseling allows my clients to feel seen, understood, and validated. I enjoy working with clients who seek to nourish their body to their best capacity, who wish to heal, who feel lost in the noise and misinformation, who feel like they have “tried it all” or “know what to do” but struggle with consistency. I love using evidence-based practices and empathy to help people on their road to healing, to better health, or to peace with their body and foods."

AI summary of written reviews

Clients consistently describe Jane as warm, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. Many highlight noticeable improvements in their eating habits, energy, and confidence after just a few weeks of working with her.

While a handful of clients hoped for more structured follow‑up, the vast majority praise her for setting realistic goals and explaining nutrition in a way that finally “clicks.”

Overall, Jane is highly recommended for anyone looking for thoughtful, supportive guidance.

Jane completely changed how I think about food. She’s patient, knowledgeable, and explains things in a way that actually makes sense.
