Hi! I’m Josie Phifer, MPH, RD—a registered dietitian with a background in public health, clinical nutrition, and community wellness. I’ve worked with clients across all life stages, helping them heal their relationship with food, understand their nutritional needs, and build sustainable habits that support their well-being—not just their plate.
I earned my Master of Public Health and completed my RD training at the University of North Carolina’s Gillings School of Global Public Health, where I was honored with the Delta Omega Award for Academic Excellence. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Miami. My experience ranges from hospitals and research labs to school wellness programs and hands-on cooking classes. Whether supporting families, older adults, or midlife clients, I meet people where they are—with empathy, education, and evidence-based care.
I believe nutrition isn’t about rules—it’s about reconnection. My goal is to help clients build a positive, balanced relationship with food that works for their unique body and lifestyle. I take a nonjudgmental, inclusive, and realistic approach, and yes—there’s room for joy, flexibility, and your favorite meals.
Outside of work, you can find me in the garden, testing recipes, volunteering in the community, or enjoying the Colorado outdoors. I’m passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where people can thrive—not just survive—and I’m honored to walk alongside my clients as they build trust in their own bodies and choices.
"I take a supportive, inclusive, and evidence-based approach to nutrition—no food shaming, no detox fads. I help clients rebuild trust with food in a judgment-free zone, focusing on realistic habits and sustainable changes that actually fit their life."
