Struggling with weight isn’t about willpower—it’s a lifelong condition that requires ongoing attention and the right support system. I understand this journey firsthand. Before becoming a dietitian, I faced my own health challenges, including severe hypertension and pre-fatty liver disease at 335 pounds. Through gradual, sustainable changes, I lost 130 pounds and reshaped my relationship with food and health. Now, I help others do the same.
As a registered dietitian, my approach is client-centered, judgment-free, and focused on autonomy. Many people struggle to accurately gauge their intake versus their needs, making self-monitoring an essential tool for long-term success. I work with clients to increase awareness, build sustainable habits, and set realistic, personalized goals using the SMART framework. While I provide support and accountability, lasting change comes from within—my role is to help you develop the skills and confidence to maintain progress independently.
I also recognize that lifestyle changes alone aren’t always enough. When appropriate, I support the use of pharmacological interventions in conjunction with behavioral strategies to maximize results while minimizing muscle loss and side effects.
My private practice offers 100% virtual one-on-one nutrition counseling for adults struggling with weight management, hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes. I also provide meal planning guidance, helping clients learn how to plan meals effectively on their own. My approach isn’t about quick fixes—it’s about sustainable change, accountability, and long-term success.
If you’re ready to take small, achievable steps toward lasting health, I’d love to support you on your journey.
