During her teenage years, Jessica went through a life transformation. Struggling with anxiety, depression, and food intolerances, Jessica began to connect back to her body through mindfulness, yoga, and nutrition. After seeing the impact diet and lifestyle had on herself, she became a Registered Dietitian (RDN) and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). She follows an intuitive and mindful approach to nutrition counseling. Each session is customized to the individual. She helps clients develop a positive relationship with food. She follows the philosophy of 'health at every size'. Her focus is on eating disorders, mental health, plant-based nutrition, and overall wellness. Overall, she has 4 years experience as a dietitian working in behavioral health as well as with eating disorders. In addition to her private practice, Jessica works at Johns Hopkins All Children's hospital. She is currently expanding her knowledge in disordered eating under the International Association of Eating Disorder Professions. Jessica believes most health issues (mental and physical) are a result of a disconnection from the body. She hosts wellness retreats for all ages in order to guide people back to themselves.
