Background

I’m a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with over 12 years of experience helping people feel more in control of their health. I specialize in sustainable weight loss, type 2 diabetes management, women's health and building healthy, realistic habits that actually last.

My sessions are all about meeting you where you are. I create a supportive, judgment-free space where we work together to create practical strategies that fit your life. You’ll walk away with tools you can use immediately, a deeper understanding of your body and your health, and a clear plan that feels doable, not overwhelming. I’m here to listen, guide, and help you stay accountable without adding stress or guilt.

My focus is on: diabetes and prediabetes, patients who are taking GLP-1 medications, weight loss that’s rooted in self-care, not shame, women’s health and PCOS, navigating emotional eating, meal planning for busy schedules and preventive care through nutrition.

If you’re tired of diet culture, want personalized support, and are ready to make real progress with your health, we’ll likely be a great fit.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Nutrition and Dietetics from Bluffton University, and I’ve been a practicing dietitian for over 12 years. I became a Certified Diabetes Educator in 2017.

I became a dietitian because I saw how confusing and frustrating nutrition can be for so many people. I wanted to help change that. Starting my own practice has allowed me to truly connect with my clients, focus on prevention, and provide the kind of support that leads to lasting change. I love being part of someone’s health journey and watching them build confidence and peace with food and their body.

When I’m not working with clients, you can usually find me outside on our family farm with my husband and our three young kids. I love gardening, cooking with fresh ingredients, and simplifying the overwhelming world of nutrition into something approachable and empowering.

Approach

"My approach is rooted in empathy, education, and empowerment. I believe nutrition shouldn't feel overwhelming or restrictive, it should feel doable, personal, and sustainable. I don’t hand out one size fits all meal plans or expect perfection. Instead, I help clients tune into what works for their body, their lifestyle, and their goals, step by step, with compassion and clarity. I work best with individuals who are ready to move away from the "all or nothing" mindset."
