I attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where I earned a B.S. in Food and Nutrition with an emphasis in Dietetics. After graduating from university, I became an ADAPT Certified Functional Health Coach. I then returned to Cal Poly Pomona and completed my Dietetic Internship, allowing me to sit for the Registered Dietitian Exam. As a life-long learner, I dedicate time to remaining up-to-date on the latest research on blood sugar metabolism, pre-diabetes, diabetes, and autoimmunity to help individuals uncover the drivers of their health issues. I believe in an individualized approach to reaching an optimal state of health. While there are universal principles required to experience positive health change, I understand the journey may look different for everyone, and each person has unique motivations for wanting to improve their health. I am not only skilled at uncovering your “why” for change but will provide you with the tools and information you need to get to the root of your health issues. I desire everyone to experience a level of vitality just as nature intended. My experience in conventional dietetics and functional medicine has left me disheartened. I observed shortcomings in both but have been fortunate enough to experience both and fill in the gaps to ensure my clients get the results they are seeking. I am a California native. However, I now live in Florida with my wife, Lauren, twin boys, Jude and Logan, and Black Sheprador, Lilah. I love lifting weights, hiking, and gardening – anything that allows me to be outdoors. Now that we are in Florida we spend plenty of time at the beach during our free time.
