As a Registered Dietitian with over five years of experience working exclusively with clients with eating disorders in higher levels of care, I take a compassionate, client-centered, and holistic approach to nutrition counseling. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and a Certified ARFID Specialist, and I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds heal their relationship with food and body.
My unique approach integrates evidence-based nutrition therapy with an emphasis on understanding the emotional, psychological, and behavioral components that influence eating. I firmly believe that nutrition is not just about what we eat, but how we feel about food, our bodies, and ourselves. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic alliance through empathy, active listening, and genuine curiosity, allowing clients to feel seen, heard, and supported.
I work from a non-diet, weight-inclusive perspective and honor each client’s lived experience. I tailor my recommendations to meet clients where they are, respecting their cultural, medical, and personal needs. Whether I’m working with someone struggling with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, or ARFID, my goal is always to guide them toward greater flexibility with food, improved nourishment, and a more peaceful relationship with eating.
I also value interdisciplinary collaboration and work closely with therapists, physicians, and families to ensure consistent and supportive care. I incorporate mindfulness, self-compassion practices, and education to empower clients to make sustainable changes and reconnect with their bodies’ innate cues.
Ultimately, my mission is to support individuals in reclaiming the joy, connection, and trust that food can bring, while improving both their physical and emotional well-being.
