Background
Dr. Hope Lima started in the field of maternal and child health through human milk research during her PhD. Being fascinated with reproduction and how nutrition can support lactation, she became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Registered Dietitian. Hope is OutCare Certified and is always seeking to provide equitable, evidence-based care. In 2022, Hope completed advanced training in food allergy management to be able to better support families struggling to feed their children. When you work with Hope, you can expect a relaxed environment where she comes alongside you to create a plan that centers your goals. Using shared decision making, you will be given the information you need to create goals that fit your circumstances and specific lifestyle. When she's not supporting families in meeting their food goals, Hope loves to spend time with her partner, three step children, and three dogs. She is an avid hiker and loves to explore national parks.
