Everybody eats. Talking about nutrition shouldn’t be intimidating since it’s truly part of your everyday routine. I strongly believe that our relationship with food is deeply personal and should be given the stage since it is such a huge part of our lives.
I am a daughter of stubborn parents with pre-existing conditions and a mother to two adorable picky eaters. I am a human being who also faces the daily struggle of “what’s for dinner?”
I am a culinary nutritionist and registered dietitian born and raised in New York City. Not only can I help you with menu planning, but I can also teach you real cooking techniques and walk you through that thing that some people may feel is daunting “cooking”. Not everyone has time to cook and that’s reality. So let’s talk about how to make the best choices from outside of your kitchen.
Aside from being an amazingly funny and warm registered dietitian, I’m also a working actress and model. Staying in shape is a top priority for me but sometimes life throws a brick at you and messes with exercise routines, or sometimes my body disagrees with it altogether and that’s real life. We can talk about physical struggles together and how to make the best food choices throughout it all without starving yourself or your tastebuds.
I grew up with first generation immigrant parents who didn’t cook a whole lot at home and that sometimes made me feel like I was missing out. So I went to culinary school in Providence, RI and have learned a lot. From kitchens in Ocean City, MD to Michelin Star restaurants in Midtown Manhattan, I’ve learned a few things. If I can learn a few culinary tricks, so can you.
I am here to provide you with the tools you will use forever to make confident nutritional choices for you or your loved ones. Whether it be for a new condition needing medical nutrition therapy or just trying to make better food choices.
My goal as a dietitian is to help you feel as empowered about your food choices as maybe a stylist helps with your outfits. You tell me what your goals are and I will help you get there. Let’s remove the stigma of “diet” and get back to food.
"As a culinary nutritionist, I can teach clients cooking techniques, menu planning, or (for the over scheduled) how to make the best choices outside of their kitchen. My ideal client would be someone with a new diagnosis needing medical nutrition therapy or someone interested in making better choices for a healthy lifestyle. My goal as a dietitian is to help clients feel empowered about their food choices. You tell me what your goals are for your clients and I will help them get there."
