Background

Hi! I’m Heather Py, RD, CDN, CDCES. As a dietitian specializing in cardiometabolic health, I help clients translate complex science into simple, personalized strategies. I believe in the power of food as medicine for preventing and managing chronic conditions such as cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, and chronic kidney disease. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, have been managing your condition for years, or are focused on prevention, we’ll work together to build sustainable habits that support your health goals. Just looking to feel your best? We can work on that, too.

I earned my degree in Nutritional Sciences and Education at Cornell University and completed my clinical training at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. I am a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) and hold the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Certificate of Training in Obesity for Pediatrics and Adults. As a dietitian at a leading hospital in New York City, I enjoy amplifying evidence-based nutrition science and have been featured in CNN, Women’s Health, Vogue, Verywell Health, GQ, and more. I also partner with the American Heart Association to deliver wellness lectures to corporate audiences.

My approach combines clear education with compassionate support to help you build sustainable habits that fit seamlessly into your life. Grounded in behavior-change science, our work focuses not just on *what* to do, but *how* to make it happen. My ultimate goal is to guide you toward meaningful changes that help you life your best life.
