My heart holds a special place for family nutrition: pregnancy, postpartum, infancy, toddlerhood, and childhood. As a mom of two, I understand how each of these stages holds unique challenges. I have an almost three-year-old son and an infant daughter who was born in August 2025, so I am right there with you! My passion is to journey alongside families, teaching simple habit changes that can transform health and give a healthy start to all.
Aside from family nutrition, I love counseling every age and stage, teaching how “all foods can fit” – even as we work to manage weight, improve heart health, reduce diabetes risk, and so much more. I enjoy communicating that nutrition can be simple and fit every budget. My sessions also include counseling on beginning exercise because I believe it holds an important role in a healthy lifestyle.
As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in Nebraska, I am a Licensed Medical Nutrition Therapist. I achieved my Master of Medical Nutrition Degree at University of Nebraska Medical Center, where I learned that my true passion is outpatient nutrition counseling. My primary work experience has been in public health as a WIC dietitian and certified lactation counselor. I also work at my local YMCA as a group fitness instructor, weight loss program facilitator, and dietitian.
As a dietitian, I believe that nutrition is a science, and I hope to help my clients discern fact from fiction. My approach is to follow simple, research-based nutrition practices to improve my clients’ lives and health. Clients drive my work, as their concerns and goals drive our conversations. I love to sprinkle in creativity as I work with clients to personalize their nutrition plans, sharing recipes and more. I am responsive via messaging in between appointments, as I truly enjoy helping my clients find success.
Nutrition and exercise are my hobbies-turned-career, and I love to share my expertise with clients. It is a privilege to serve my community as a dietitian and I would love to meet with you!
