Background

Do you struggle with:

Emotional eating such as boredom or stress eating?

Getting on and off diets like fasting, low-carb, or points systems?

Weight fluctuation beyond 2-5 lbs (1-3 kg)?

Feeling out of control around certain foods?

Poor body image and poor treatment by others (including medical providers) due to your body size?

Feeling like you need to compensate for your eating with long workouts?

Confusion about what on earth you should or shouldn't eat, and how much?

Feeling worried all the time that you’re not eating healthy enough, or “clean” enough and that it will impact your health?

These are all concerns that I am equipped to address \with my clients, through my unique approach. You are the expert of your own body. I use my training and experience to support you on your journey.

Long before becoming a dietitian, I struggled with a tumultuous family life that tied into disordered eating behaviors. Over many years, I have learned tools of self-compassion, flexibility, and attuned awareness to my body’s cues and wisdom. I love working with people, and my own journey with food is what inspired me to support people with food and eating.

I have a BA from New York University and an MS in Nutrition and Dietetics from Framingham State University. I received my credential as a registered dietitian in July 2021. Prior to becoming a dietitian I spent 10 years in the food industry as a cook, private chef, food journalist and cooking instructor for kids, and for adults with disabilities.

In my free time, I love to giggle with my son, hang out with family, get coffee with friends, and read.

Approach

"I work with women, trans and nonbinary folx in any body size (fat, plus-size, larger-bodied, smaller-bodied, whatever size-bodied) who are ready to shed the apps, diets, cleanses and meal plans in pursuit of greater food freedom, self-compassion, and empowerment. In my experience, healing happens within trusted relationships. My goal is to put in the work to build that rapport and trust with each one of my clients. I bring authenticity, compassion, curiosity, and humor to our work together."
