Hi, I'm Erika!
I am a Registered Dietitian specializing in a variety of gastrointestinal disorders, including but not limited to celiac disease, IBD (Crohn’s/Colitis), GERD (reflux), SIBO, IBS, food sensitivities, constipation, diarrhea, and fatty liver disease, in addition to general gut health, weight management, insulin resistance, and PCOS. My mission is to make navigating your health straightforward and manageable.
Navigating digestive health can be overwhelming with the abundance of information and conflicting advice out there. Whether you're dealing with chronic symptoms or simply looking to improve your gut health, it’s easy to feel lost. Let me help you simplify your approach to nutrition and gut health. It’s possible to feel good in your body, make informed food choices, and achieve a balanced nutritional mindset.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Providence College and later obtained my Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics from Pace University. My clinical training at Westchester Medical Center sparked a strong interest in gastroenterology. Since then, I have worked extensively within a gastroenterology practice, providing specialized nutrition services for a range of digestive disorders. Living with celiac disease personally gives me a unique perspective and allows me to offer empathetic care, fully understanding the challenges of managing a chronic condition. My professional expertise, coupled with my personal experience, underscores my dedication to supporting clients in their digestive health journeys with both compassion and precision.
Outside of my professional life, I am passionate about cooking, gardening, and hiking. Cooking allows me to explore gut-friendly recipes and experiment with new ingredients while gardening provides fresh produce that often inspires my recipes. Hiking offers a rejuvenating connection with nature, which enriches my holistic approach to nutrition and overall well-being.
I look forward to collaborating with you on your journey to improved well-being and digestive health!
