Hi, I’m Emma Black, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with a background in eating disorder treatment, functional nutrition, and behavior change counseling. I’ve worked in inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization settings with adolescents and families, and I bring that same compassionate, individualized care to my outpatient clients. I specialize in helping people heal their relationship with food and their bodies while creating sustainable, nourishing habits that support both mental and physical well-being.
My approach is rooted in the belief that nutrition doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. I focus on building trust with food through education, curiosity, and small, meaningful changes. I’m especially passionate about supporting clients who feel stuck in all-or-nothing thinking or chronic food guilt, and I love helping people move toward flexibility, satisfaction, and peace with eating.
I aim to create a non-judgmental, collaborative space where you can explore your goals, struggles, and values. Whether you're navigating recovery from disordered eating, seeking support after treatment, or simply wanting to feel more balanced and confident in your food choices, I’m here to meet you where you are and support you along the way.
When I’m not working, you can find me hiking Colorado trails, experimenting in the kitchen, or enjoying an iced matcha. I believe in a balanced life and a balanced plate—and I’m honored to walk alongside clients as they redefine both for themselves.
