My name is Ellen Golden, and I have been a Registered Dietitian for 25 years. I earned my second Bachelor's of Science degree in Food & Nutrition from SUNY Plattsburgh, in Upstate New York. I have practiced in Florida throughout my entire career, choosing sunshine over snow.
I currently work at a Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH). I work with medically complex, acutely ill patients. I find this work incredibly rewarding. Over the years, I have worked with people at nearly every stage of life. Whether you are navigating a serious illness, or desire to focus on prevention, I am here to help.
Not only can I offer the professional experience you are seeking, I have personal experience which lends compassion and empathy to every session. Like a good conversation with a trusted friend.
On a personal note, I am the grandmother of six beautiful children. I travel back to Upstate New York in the summers to relax at my summer cottage on Star Lake, which is part of my self-care. I would love to learn more about you and how you want to start improving your self-care.
