Hi, I am Elise Millen RDN,LDN, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, my passion lies in helping people create a sustainable, balanced relationship with food—one that feels good both mentally and physically. I believe nutrition is never one-size-fits-all. Each person brings their own story, culture, preferences, and goals, and I honor that by offering truly individualized care.
What you can expect:
In our sessions, we’ll work together to build a realistic plan tailored to you. Whether you're navigating a health condition, looking to improve energy, managing weight, or just hoping to feel better in your body, I’ll meet you where you are—with empathy, evidence-based guidance, and no judgment. My goal is to help you make informed, confident choices that align with your life and values.
A little about me: I received my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of Delaware, and went on to complete the supervised practice program to meet the Commission on Dietetics Registration requirements for the RDN at Saint Elizabeth University (formerly College of St. Elizabeth) in Morristown, NJ. I began my career in Long-term and Chronic Care settings, where I developed a deep appreciation for working closely with patients and building meaningful, ongoing relationships. I loved getting to know my patients—not just their diagnoses, but their stories, lifestyles, and goals.
After taking a short break to start my family, I made a big life transition in 2005 and moved to Israel. There, I opened a private practice where I had the opportunity to work with a diverse population and a wide range of health concerns, including Diabetes, Weight Management, GI issues, Chronic Kidney Disease, and Hypertension, among others. My time in private practice strengthened my belief in the power of individualized care. I learned that sustainable change doesn’t come from a one-size-fits-all plan, but from truly understanding each person’s needs, challenges, and motivations.
I expanded my knowledge by completing a Functional Nutrition course through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition this past year. This training deepened my understanding of how nutrition interacts with all systems of the body—not just in isolation, but as part of a whole-person approach to health. Functional nutrition emphasizes getting to the root cause of symptoms, not just managing them, and takes into account the unique biochemistry, environment, and lifestyle of each individual. Outside of work, I love going to the beach, designing jewelry, spending time with family, traveling, cycling and cooking.
My Why:
I became a dietitian because I believe that everyone deserves access to trustworthy, personalized nutrition guidance. My greatest reward is seeing my clients feel more confident, empowered, and in control of their health.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey!
P.S. I will soon have G.I. mapping available in my practice!!
