The word diet comes from Latin and Greek origins meaning a way of living. I believe this definition matters, because health is about much more than food alone—it’s about the daily choices we make and how they shape our lives over time.
In nutrition counseling, meaningful change doesn’t happen overnight. It happens through small, realistic steps that add up. While change can feel challenging, even modest adjustments can improve how you feel, support your overall well-being, and, in many cases, help prevent or slow chronic disease.
I enjoy working with individuals who are open to making gradual, sustainable changes and who understand that long-term health is worth the effort. My focus includes general nutrition for healthy aging and longevity, as well as medical nutrition therapy for conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and other chronic illnesses. I also specialize in bariatric surgery nutrition and currently practice in internal medicine, where I use nutrition as a powerful tool alongside medical care.
I bring more than 24 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD), Physician Associate (PA), and Doctor of Medical Science (DMS). This allows me to understand your full health picture and tailor nutrition recommendations to your unique medical history, lifestyle, and goals.
Outside of my professional role, I am a husband of 21 years and a father of three—roles I value deeply. My interest in nutrition began early, growing up in a family that owned natural foods markets, where I was exposed to whole-food nutrition and complementary approaches to health. From a young age, I saw how nutrition could make a meaningful difference, one person at a time.
I look forward to partnering with you and supporting you on your journey toward better health, balance, and long-term well-being.
I practice person-centered nutrition counseling that is compassionate, comprehensive, and competent. I listen to people's nutrition concerns in the context of their lifestyle and medical diagnoses. To find the best nutrition interventions that will significantly impact health and well-being. I enjoy motivating people through solid relationships. While short-term goals are important, I maintain a long-term perspective on making changes that will impact you now and in the coming decade.
