Hello! I am a dietitian that has been practicing for close to 10 years. Think of me as your big sis who has the clinical expertise to not lead you wayward but the emotional intelligence to walk alongside you to make you feel supported and seen. I give feedback and suggestions that are doable with your particular season in life and cheer you on along the way. I have four kids (yes, four! And they’re all mine and yes, I do have my hands full.) so I know a thing or two on how to do things that are simple yet effective to save time to do the things that matter to you. I look forward to working with you so we can be the best of friends.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences and Toxicology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Science from California State University, Northridge, where I also completed my dietetic internship. I am also bilingual and fluent in Korean, and am happy to provide nutrition counseling in Korean.
My experiences lie mainly in inpatient hospital care and telehealth, giving me a strong clinical foundation and the ability to support individuals across a wide range of health needs. My primary areas of focus include weight management, pregnancy/postpartum nutrition, PCOS, preventative care, healthy aging, and nutrition therapy for chronic conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, Celiac's, hypertension, and IBD/IBS.
I believe in realistic, long-term change rather than quick fixes. I believe nutrition should be achievable, personalized, culturally sensitive, and rooted in science, not trends. I work closely with each client to create tailored strategies that fit their lifestyle, preferences, and health goals. My sessions are collaborative and supportive, emphasizing habit-building, accountability, and consistency while allowing room for life’s challenges.
