Background

Meet Chelsi Webster, PhD, RDN, CD

Hi! I'm Dr. Chelsi Webster, and I'm passionate about helping you get to the root of what's keeping you from optimal health—not just managing symptoms, but truly healing.

I know firsthand how frustrating it is to struggle with health despite doing "all the right things." My own gut health journey led me into functional medicine and taught me that real healing requires addressing not just what you eat, but why you eat it, how your body processes it, and what's happening beneath the surface—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

With a PhD in nutritional sciences from Texas Tech University (specializing in clinical weight management under Dr. Nikhil Dhurandhar, one of the world's leading obesity researchers), combined with training in functional medicine and integrated attachment theory, I bring a unique blend of cutting-edge science and compassionate, whole-person care to every client relationship.

What to Expect

My approach goes beyond traditional nutrition counseling. Together, we'll uncover the root causes of your health challenges, using functional testing like GI-MAP stool analysis and SIBO breath tests when necessary, then create a personalized healing protocol that addresses your body, mind, and the subconscious patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

Whether you're dealing with persistent digestive issues, struggling with weight despite "doing everything right," managing autoimmune conditions, or simply ready to optimize your health and longevity, I'll meet you where you are at with evidence-based strategies, practical tools you can implement immediately, and the support you need to create lasting transformation.

My Focus Areas

I specialize in:

  • Functional gut health & testing (IBS, IBD, SIBO, GERD, food sensitivities, chronic digestive issues)
  • Weight management from a root-cause, metabolic perspective
  • Autoimmune conditions and inflammatory disorders
  • Metabolic health (diabetes, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance)
  • The mind-body connection (subconscious reprogramming, attachment patterns, boundaries work)
  • Healthy aging & longevity optimization

Each symptom is a clue, not a life sentence. My goal is to help you understand what your body is trying to tell you and give you the tools to write a different story.

My Philosophy: Whole-Person Healing

Real, lasting change happens when we address the whole person—not just the food on your plate. That's why my practice integrates:

  • Functional medicine testing to identify what's actually happening, not just guessing
  • Neuroscience principles to rewire subconscious patterns and stress responses that drive eating behaviors and health outcomes
  • Evidence-based nutrition tailored to your unique physiology, not one-size-fits-all protocols
  • Mind-body integration using principles from cognitive behavioral therapy and attachment theory to heal mental and emotional roots of physical symptoms

I've spent years studying the nutrition, metabolism, and the gut-brain axis—and I've learned that the most powerful transformations happen when we honor the deep connection between our thoughts, emotions, and physical health.

Credentials and Experience

  • PhD in Nutritional Sciences (Clinical Weight Management), Texas Tech University
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Dietitian (CD)
  • Experienced in functional medicine approaches to gut health and metabolic disorders
  • Advanced training in Integrated Attachment Theory and subconscious reprogramming techniques
  • Able to order and interpret functional lab testing (GI-MAP, SIBO breath testing, and more)
  • Years of clinical experience in weight management, digestive disorders, and integrative nutrition

A Little About Me

Outside of my practice, you'll find me in the kitchen experimenting, working out, reading the latest research, and serving in my community. I believe deeply in the power of faith and showing up authentically in all areas of life.

I became a dietitian because I've witnessed the profound transformation that happens when people discover how to work with their bodies instead of against them, loving themselves to better health. I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.

Approach

My ideal client wants root-cause healing, not just symptom management. You're ready to explore functional testing, invest in quality supplements, and make dietary changes that support true, lasting transformation. What sets me apart is my integration of advanced functional testing, neuroscience-based subconscious work, and evidence-based nutrition. I help you understand why your body is responding the way it is and give you tools to rewire patterns that have kept you stuck.
