Chandra Matthews, RD
Background
Chandra Matthews is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. Chandra obtained her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from the University of California at Davis and completed her dietetic internship at the University of California at San Francisco. Over the past 20 years, Chandra has worked in a variety of settings including telehealth, outpatient clinics, acute care hospitals, physicians’ offices, and long-term health care facilities. Areas of focus have included diabetes management, weight management in pediatric and adult populations, cardiovascular health, and eating disorders. Chandra is passionate about inspiring and motivating others to achieve their health goals. When not with patients, she enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with friends and family (furry members as well).
