Let’s get real… We don't have time to be following a strict diet, glued to calorie trackers, or criticizing our bodies in the mirror every day. My #1 passion is to provide my patients sound nutrition education and assist in personal goal development, while always promoting a healthy relationship with food and body. I will help you develop healthier nutrition and lifestyle practices, while promoting food freedom, mental health, self-confidence, and quality of life.
Whether you are overwhelmed with a new medical diagnosis that requires dietary changes or just need support applying healthy nutrition and lifestyle practices in a realistic, sustainable, and flexible approach, I have the nutrition expertise to help you!
I have been a Registered Dietitian for 8 years and have a breadth of experience working with general nutrition, athletic performance, metabolic disorders, gut health, nutrition support (tube feeding), surgical nutrition, and chronic disease management (diabetes, chronic kidney disease, congestive heart failure, among many others). In addition, I am a Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition and have spent much of my career helping my clients get through cancer treatment and reduce their cancer risk in survivorship. In addition, my training to become a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor is underway, as my strongest passion is promoting food freedom and empowering individuals misled by toxic diet culture to trust their bodies and enjoy food again!
Our first session will involve kickstarting our dietitian-to-client relationship, building rapport, and starting your personal goal development. First, I just want to get to know you! What are your passions, hobbies, motivators? How do you learn the best? What does your typical day look like? What are your strengths? Where do you want self-improvement? I want to close our first session with an idea of who you are and what’s really important to you, so I can apply a holistic approach in our future counseling sessions.
Ultimately, maintaining work-life balance keeps me energized to show up for you in the best way possible. In my free time, you can find me gardening, playing board games with my fiancé, snuggling with my Shih-Tzu, reading, building puzzles, painting, and drawing. I am also learning how to knit for this winter :)
