Background

With over a decade as a dietitian and 7 of those years specializing in functional medicine, my experiences have shaped me into the dietitian I am today. My passion lies in helping people with chronic issues find relief with the power of nutrition and lifestyle changes. I enjoy working with individuals with GI issues, food sensitivities/intolerances, autoimmune disorders, hormone imbalance, thyroid issues, adrenal fatigue, and a variety of other health issues. I completed my training as an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner through the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy in 2017. With my functional medicine approach, I consider all the factors that affect an individual's health including diet, hydration, physical activity, sleep, stress, lifestyle factors, and environmental toxins. I work with clients to meet them where they're at and develop a customized food plan, which includes a list of foods to eat and foods to limit/avoid, meal plan, grocery list, and recipes. I also provide various educational handouts as needed. Change is never easy, but my goal is to provide you with all the tools, education, and coaching you need to make sustainable changes that allow you to live your absolute best life. Oftentimes, my clients find that chronic symptoms that seem unrelated to food end up improving or completely resolving after working with me and making the necessary diet and lifestyle changes. We're not aiming for "normal", we're aiming for "optimal", and I would love the chance to help you on your health journey!

Approach

"Have you been told by a healthcare professional that your labs look normal so everything should be fine when you know it's not? Or been put on medication to manage a chronic disease without any mention of the diet and lifestyle changes that could help? I'm here to change that narrative and give you hope. I will truly listen to you, meet you where you're at, and guide you with customized food plans, grocery lists, and recipes to help you make sustainable changes for a vibrant and fulfilling life!"
