Background

Hi there! I'm Angela, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and Health Coach. I'm Canadian-born but now live in Fort Collins, Colorado with my husband and our two cats, Cleo and Scraggles.

What You Can Expect From Our Sessions

When you work with me, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and supported. I take a flexible, client-centered approach, tailoring each session to your unique needs and stage of change. Together, we'll explore your goals, uncover your deeper "why," and work on creating the identity you want to embody.

My clients often tell me they feel incredibly comfortable opening up to me and appreciate my genuine care for them as whole people. Sessions can be lighthearted yet impactful, balancing reflection with actionable guidance that helps you take ownership of lasting change.

My Focus Areas

I specialize in helping clients who are tired of feeling confused and unempowered in their own bodies. Whether you're done with diets, looking to build a better relationship with food, or wanting to feel truly empowered in your health journey, I'm here to support you.

My approach addresses nutrition, movement, stress management, and sleep patterns. I focus on helping you calm anxiety, build confidence, reclaim your energy, shed limiting beliefs, and stop feeling stuck so you can take inspired action.

My Credentials & Background

I hold a Master's in Nutrition Sciences (2021) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and am certified as an Intuitive Eating Counselor with additional training in body image support work. My background in biochemistry, microbiology and immunology gives me a solid foundation in how the body actually works.

My experience includes working remotely with Dietitian Live using weight-inclusive approaches and behavior change theories to help clients create transformative and sustainable lifestyle changes rather than short-term fixes. Previously, I supported families through ElRio Health's WIC program with compassionate, culturally responsive nutrition care. I've taken culinary classes across multiple countries, learning how different cultures approach food with joy rather than restriction.

A Little About Me Personally

Outside of work, I love practicing yoga and pilates, taking walks while listening to podcasts, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I'm currently exploring knitting, crochet, beading, and gardening—I love learning new things! My international experiences of working and living in Korea and Saudi Arabia have taught me the importance of cultural understanding, which deeply influences how I approach counseling.

Why This Work is Important to Me

My lived experience with disordered eating drives my work today. From my early twenties until thirties, I struggled with a restrictive eating disorder—the constant mental chatter about food, anxiety around eating, and disconnection from my body.

I understand the mental exhaustion of food rules and the isolation that comes with being disconnected from your body. I also know that recovery and food freedom are possible through rebuilding trust, addressing underlying issues, and honoring what your body needs. This is why I'm passionate about prevention—I want to help people avoid the years I lost to food anxiety and body shame and develop genuine confidence in their food choices and gratitude for their bodies.

My Promise to You

I promise to meet you exactly where you are—without judgment, without shame, without impossible expectations. Together, we'll cut through the noise and find what truly works for your body, your life, and your values.
