Hi! I’m Angela Houlie, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and I love helping individuals on their personal journey to nourishing their bodies! I hold a master’s in nutrition, I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (national certification), Certified Dietitian Nutritionist (license to practice in New York), and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (License to practice in Illinois). Fun fact - For more than a decade, I worked as a Project Manager, but my burning passion for helping people overcome their negative beliefs about food and body image led me to pursue a new path. Now, as a dietitian, I get to share my knowledge and experience to empower others to break free from harmful patterns and live healthier, happier lives. I believe that knowledge is power, and through working together, you can heal your relationship with food and yourself. My focus isn’t just working with adults! I love working with kids and teens and use age-appropriate techniques like fun nutrition facts, nutrition activities, and games to engage even the smallest nutrition learners in being interested in their food and nutrition choices. Parents can also benefit from my expertise, as I will provide proven solutions to raise a confident and mindful eater and wipe away any anxiety about the nutritional needs of their children. In addition to child and teen nutrition, I also specialize in nutritional needs during pregnancy and conception. I understand that nutritional requirements change through the different stages of pregnancy and that what both partners eat can affect fertility. From the very beginning, I’ll work with you on improving nutrition for fertility and beyond, providing a holistic prenatal approach, including a pregnancy nutrition meal plan, understanding of the nutritional requirements during pregnancy, how to eat intuitively during pregnancy, and plenty of pro tips to ensure the most nourishing pregnancy possible.
