As a dietitian with over 30 years experience, I still get excited when a client is able to achieve their goals for better health. For the past 20 years my focus has been helping people with diabetes or at risk for diabetes learn different ways to choose foods and add physical activity to help manage their diabetes. In more recent years, as I've experienced perimenopause and menopause, I've been able to make changes to my own eating and physical activity routines to make me feel stronger.
