Background

My 25 years of dietetics, functional medicine, physical performance, and bodywork experience are blended with the ancient roots of yoga, Ayurveda medicine, Polyvagal theory, and Somatic Therapy. I help you re-ignite your inner healer by supporting you in being a better digester on all levels of your life - physical, mental, and emotional. To live a more mindful existence, we learn how to fuel our agni (digestive fire). I provide people with the tools they need to be successful in life. This power must be gained, activated, and evolved, which requires time, effort, and practice. We are best aligned if you are open-minded and question what you may have previously thought was true.

Approach to care:

You are dynamic! To address any dis-ease, we must look at it from multiple angles (not just diet/food) and determine the path that will help you feel vibrant and well. Acknowledgement is the first step, followed by compassion and understanding. From here, we can create a new relationship with how we view whatever is in front of us. This is a collaborative effort, and it deserves an open perspective on both ends and a willingness to approach some things that may be uncomfortable to change to resolve. Transparency in communication is key in working with me! There is a commitment to verbalizing what is working or not throughout the process to serve and support you best, and I will equally offer you the truth of where you might be getting in your way. **Currently not accepting those on weight loss drugs or eating disorders who are working with a therapist in conjunction already, or will begin therapy within 2 weeks of starting.

What to expect in your first session:

I want to get to know you and learn what is important to you in maintaining or improving your health. I will review your medical and family history, current lifestyle, concerns or conditions, and background. From here, we will discuss what it will look like to work together, how sessions will be conducted, agreements to support your health, and a plan to reach your goals. I will help guide you towards help, but you will facilitate the changes. I will hold you accountable to your potential, though the actionable implementation will be driven by you. A non-macro or micro nutrient view ONLY. Do not recommend counting calories.

I do my best to provide my clients with the best possible support, and with that looks like healing on many levels. Please review the following 6-week program - Sacred Breath and Conscious Connection Course.

This program is designed to support you in conjunction with our sessions. Clients' success rates have been shown to increase by 85%. Please review below, and we can discuss more during our time together.
