Tara Durden, RD

Tara is a Functional Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist specializing in women’s health. She works with women struggling with hormonal and digestive issues using a functional and sustainable approach to optimize overall health and well-being. Her passion for helping others started out as a dream to become a Speech Pathologist but she realized the universe had other plans for her - that’s when nutrition surfaced. After obtaining her first Bachelor’s degree, she found herself back in school and achieved her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Master of Science in Nutrition soon after. For the past decade, she has worked in multiple healthcare settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, long term care and private practice. Her pivotal role as a dietitian has been to provide the best plan of care and most sustainable wellness plan for patients and clients. When corporate medical settings no longer served her, she followed solely down the path of private practice and that’s when her company was born. Drawing from her personal wellness endeavors and professional experiences, she has learned that to achieve the optimal wellness she always sought, a personalized and holistic approach is required. She took the time to relearn how to be in touch with herself, how to eat regularly and balanced, and how sleep, self-care and joyful movement all play a huge role in her health. She knew she needed to close this gap for as many women as possible struggling to live their healthiest lives. Using a functional nutrition approach, Tara was able to optimize her hormones and gut health. Now feeling the best in her body that she ever has, she is passionate about helping you feel the same. Today, she helps women like you optimize hormones, mineral status and gut health combining both holistic and scientific methods. She guides and supports you during your whole body healing journey.
