Morgan Sokes, RD

I am a licensed registered dietitian nutritionist with a M.S. degree in clinical nutrition from Rush University in Chicago, IL. I received my B.S. from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in molecular and cellular biology. I went on to become a teacher after obtaining my M.A. in science education w/ endorsements in biology, chemistry, and health. I have a passion for diabetes education, weight management, and whole food plant-based eating. I switched careers and entered the nutrition field after struggling with my own personal health journey in managing type 1 diabetes, gastroparesis, and multiple autoimmune conditions. I discovered the power of nutrition and lifestyle changes and how important our food choices can be in how we feel and function.
