Kelly Kao, RD

With over two decades of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) since 2002, my passion for nutrition ignited under the guidance of a vibrant elderly college instructor who defied age with her health and vitality. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of assisting individuals across all stages of life, from pediatrics to geriatrics, including adolescents, pregnant women, and adults.

Equipped with certifications in Adult Weight Management since 2003, Pediatric and Adult Weight Management as of 2024, and Managing Type 2 Diabetes, I am dedicated to tailoring solutions to each individual's unique needs. I firmly believe in the power of collaborative teamwork and evidence-based practices to help clients achieve their nutrition and health objectives.

In addition to English, I am fluent in Mandarin/Chinese, enhancing my ability to connect with diverse communities. As a proud mother of two daughters residing in Los Angeles, a vibrant cultural hub, my family and I delight in exploring and embracing a variety of authentic cuisines and traditions.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am committed to giving back to the community through volunteer work, including supporting food banks, participating in beach cleanups, and contributing to tree-planting initiatives.
