Cheryl Kaylie, RD

Hi there! My name is Cheryl, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and founder of Sweet n’ Healthy Nutrition! I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Exercise Physiology at Queens College and completed my Dietetic Internship at New York Institute of Technology, Westbury, NY. I became a Registered Dietitian in 1998 and working with clients in an outpatient clinic and private practice setting.

I gained experience working with chronic kidney / renal disease patients (CKD, ESRD, dialysis) and currently work in Long Island, New York. In my nutrition counseling approach, I provide optimal nutritional intervention, education, medical nutrition therapy, individualizes meals plans, provides motivational interviewing and is supportive for healing one's relationship with food. I enjoy supporting clients on their nutritious journey to reach their own specific goals. I believe in empowering my clients to be their own health advocates. I am dedicated to understanding your nutritional needs and tailoring my recommendations to fit your lifestyle and preferences. I recognize that clients benefit from individualized nutrition care. I am truly committed to helping clients create long term, and nourishing habits. In addition to renal disease, I have experience working with adults with weight management, digestive disorders, heart health, blood sugar management, chronic disease and more.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time traveling & exploring new places, connecting over food with friends and family, spending time with my Rhodesian Ridgeback, dancing Zumba, & enjoy strength training. I am always looking for great recommendations on places to visit and restaurants to try! I am looking forward to working with you!
