Hello! My name is Brinsley and I am a registered dietitian living in Chicago, IL. My fiancé and I moved here in July 2022, but we always knew we would move to this incredible city. My hometown is Grand Haven, MI. While I miss the beaches of west Michigan, the food scene of Chicago has stolen my heart. I received my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Western Michigan University (Go Broncos!), and my Master of Science in Clinical Dietetics from Grand Valley State University. After becoming a registered dietitian, I began working in a bariatric clinic and general outpatient facility. I am well-versed in vertical sleeve gastrectomies, medical weight loss support, diabetes management, and overall health and wellness. Upon moving to Chicago, I took a position as an outpatient pediatric dietitian working with pre-term newborns through age 26. In this role, I serve more than 15 sub-specialties and assist patients and families with disordered eating, ARFID, GI disorders, weight management, diabetes, college transitions, family menu planning, and any other nutrition-related concerns. I love working with this population, and helping parents formulate change in their homes. So, how did I get here? I was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in high school. After learning how to manage my symptoms through food and lifestyle modifications, I felt the need to help others do the same. Whatever your nutrition goal may be, I would love to help you reach it. Let’s connect and get started!
