Pt has a hx of disordered eating

Pt is mostly vegetarian for the past few months

Pt is trying to get pregnant


Pt generally eats healthy but struggles with portions at time. Pt would benefit from having balanced meals based on the plate method and also limit saturated and trans fat so that labs can be improved and weight loss can be promoted.

Education provided:

Discussed the plate method

Discussed the importance of fiber

Discussed stress management and relation to cortisol

Discussed function of liver and vitamins in the body


Have complete meals based on the plate method

Pair CHO with protein and/or healthy fats

Incorporate 150 mins of exercise per week

Incorporate 25 g fiber per day

Incorporate MUFA/PUFA/omega 3s

Limit saturated fats to <10 g/day and trans fats to 0 g/day

Incorporate magnesium glycinate and vitamin D3 + k2 after dinner
