Diagnosis and Treatment Plan

Patient updates since last appointment:

  • Breakfast after work, lunch around 11:30, sleep around 1, wakes up and has something small before work
  • Might take a small coffee and snack to work (protein and cheese, or chickpea salad)
  • More predictable diet and not just eating whenever he wants. The routine is better for him
  • Went to PT and he was able to start Peloton 2x/week now and feels good, still wants to do more hiking and swimming
  • Paying attention to hydration more
  • He has an air fryer that has a dehydrator and he wants to start dehydrating fruit to make his own trail mix snacks might just be leftovers just a few bites here and there
  • Was having more sweet cravings this week - he was using green tea to substitute for this which helped. He hasn't bought any sweets so they aren't a temptation

Pt has been doing well with:

  • Being more mindful of schedule and hunger/fullness cues
  • Getting into a better schedule with work and eating routine
  • Increased exercise since last visit

Challenges over the past week include:

  • This week was a challenge due to schedule (11p-7a work schedule)
